We are happy to announce that our 50th Class Reunion will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2018. It will be held at Veterans Memorial Park in St. Clair Shores from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. We will have more details as we organize the event, but we were so impressed with the new and beautiful Maloof Pavilion, we rented it for our reunion. This new addition was made possible by the generous donation of Mr. Fred Maloof, proud St. Clair Shores resident and business owner (of Maloof Jewelry). This pavilion size is 60' x 40' and will seat approximately 160 people, so we will have plenty of room.

The park is on Lake St. Clair at Masonic and Jefferson. We will keep you updated as we continue to work on the remaining details.

BYO rulesVeterans Memorial Park has strict rules governing refreshments. There are absolutely no glass containers allowed. Keeping this in mind you are free to bring your own beer, wine, and soft drinks in non-glass containers. The Reunion Committee has elected to provide bottled water for anyone who wants it.

MENUThe Reunion Committee selected the menu for our event with the help of the owner at Lakeland Manor. He answered all of our questions and gave us some great suggestions. We hope you will enjoy your meal.

Below is a copy of a letter that was e-mailed out. It is repeated here in hopes it will reach anyone we do not have a current e-mail address for, or who may not have received it for any reason.

Dear Classmates,

The Reunion committee decided that it's time for us to start determining the cost of our 50th Reunion. There are many expenses to consider such as the rental of the facility, the catered dinner, and miscellaneous supplies, etc. Our goal is to keep the cost as low as we can. To give us a good starting point in determining expenses, we would like those who are definitely planning to attend or those who definitely know they cannot attend to tell us. This will give us a better estimate of the number of people who will be coming.

I am emailing this information to our classmates also to test our newly updated email list. Please send a response when you receive this so I know I have the correct email address to: cindyhillfreeman@gmail.com.

All you need to include is:

  1. Your name
  2. Yes, Maybe, or No
  3. If Yes, the number of people.
    Example: Cindy Freeman/Yes/2

Remember the reunion will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Park in St. Clair Shores, MI from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Here's a link to the Veterans Memorial Park Check back soon as more information will be added.
